The University of Florida Alumni Association has designated Saturday, May 16, 2026, as International Gator Day, a day in which Gator Clubs® and Affiliate Groups around the world unite to utilize the size and spirit of the Gator Nation® to positively impact local communities.  Gators will join together to support projects and programs within their local communities, using their time and talents to serve others.

 

The Manatee County Gator Club is proud to participate in another wonderful community engagement project for International Gator Day.  This year's project will be a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County at one or both of their Desoto and Palmetto Club locations. Don't miss this chance to help our kids have a place they can learn and grow.  Exact project details will be provided as we get closer to International Gator Day.

• Gators (Club members, alumni, students, parents, and friends) of are invited to attend and assist with the project.

• We will provide attendees with more information about what may be required as the event gets closer.  Projects may be indoor or outdoor.

• Attendees will receive International Gator Day t-shirts as well as other IGD swag items (while supplies last)
